Officers and StaffMaster Councilor - The Master Councilor holds the same position as the president does in other organizations. He is the top-ranking youth leader of the Chapter. The members of the Chapter look to him as an example of leadership and character. The Senior Councilor - The Senior Councilor is the second in command of a Chapter. In most cases, the Senior Councilor is working toward the position of Master Councilor for the next term. Junior Councilor - The Junior Councilor is the third in command of a Chapter. He must be prepared to assume the duties and responsibilities of the Senior Councilor if necessary. The Treasurer - In many Chapters, this position is combined with that of the Scribe. As his title suggests, the primary function of the Treasurer is to keep an accurate account of all income and expenditures of the Chapter. Scribe - The Scribe of a DeMolay Chapter is a vital member of its leadership team. The success of a Chapter will be greatly influenced by the conduct of the Scribe. He should realize not only the compliment that was paid to him in selecting him a Scribe, but also the importance of this responsibility. Executive Officer in Idaho - The Executive Officer is DeMolay International's official adult representative in all DeMolay affairs in the state of Idaho. The Executive Officer has the authority to appoint a staff and assign subdivisions of this jurisdiction to the supervision of a staff member. |
